Mac Distribution ZIL-157K fuel tanker
Depicting a subject used in the 1950's and 60's, this is the Omega-K tooling molded in brown and black plastic with clear window parts, to a standard close to Esci. The wheel hubs have well-rendered detail on the outer surfaces, equivalent to Revell, but there is no detail whatsoever on the inner surfaces. Markings are provided for machines employed by Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Poland, the Soviet Union, and Ukraine. The decals are printed by MPD and the carrier film had yellowed in our sample. No guide as to the placement of the decals is offered in the instructions whatsoever. We cannot comment on the accuracy of this kit due to a lack of reliable reference material.
