KV-122 PST 72009
Molded in dark grey plastic to PST's usual crisp definition equivalent to Revell standard, this kit is exactly the same tooling as the KV-85 with additional parts for the KV-122. The kit retains the parts to make a KV-85. The tracks are particularly well done. The instructions direct the modeller to employ wound thread for the tow cables rather than a half-hearted facsimile being attempted in plastic, which is good. The kit supplies the cable loop ends as plastic components. The assembly diagrams are set out very clearly, with cross sections given showing precise placement of the various components which make the gun and turret mounting points. Markings are provided for several Soviet Army machines, but the diagram only shows decal placement for one. We cannot comment on the accuracy of this kit due to a lack of reliable reference material to hand. | |
