Review
"The Revell tooling has come out as Enterprise, Columbia, Discovery, Challenger and Endeavour. The Monogram tooling has come out as Challenger, Columbia, & just boxed as 'Space Shuttle'. It has also been released under the Revell name. It can be confusing if you don't know the kit, but Revell and Monogram each had their own tooling.

I've built them both and I prefer the Monogram shuttle. That's not saying there is anything wrong with the Revell kit, I just like the looks of the Monogram tooling better.
They try and duplicate the cargo bay hinges, the rear umbilical connections are moulded-in (not a decal like the Revell tooling) and it has a nicer cargo bay.

The Revell tooling does have a removable flight deck roof, a moveable rudder and beaver-tail, and the windows are done better, but the cargo bay doors are clunky as are the radiators, (which the Monogram kit does not have) and it's got that engraved tile detail which is way overscale. As for part numbers, they don't stay consistent." Review provided by Geoff Robertson.
